I have my audio files stored on a pc in my office running JRiver MC25. I have an old laptop in theater room and I use JRiver Panel to play audio via ethernet. It works fine,but I think there should be a better option with more control.

I have a new laptop pc with touch screen running windows 11 to replace old laptop in theater room.

My question,  What is best way  to control audio from office pc.  Should I try JREMOTE app on new laptop ?  Or   install JRMC25 on new laptop ?  Not sure how to share library.

Any help appreciated.

JRemote won't run on Windows.  You can run MC on both machines, then connect to the office PC from the laptop.  See the Remotes topic on the wiki, and especially Tremote.
