JRiver Media Center 28 Server
« on: January 13, 2022, 10:09:53 pm »

What is the right port what I should use? I have tried 52199 and some others but nothing works with Gitzmo Anroid application. I have also added the server to Windows 10 FireWall settings to be allowed.

Take a look at our wiki topic called Network Access.

Also make sure that you've turned on media network in MC options.

Hi,

Thank You for your answer but I got everything working. I had allowed the server in Firewall settings but it wasn't enough. I added the main program to the list and after that everything has worked well. I have now tried two android applications (Gizmo and Mo 4Media) but don't like either. Media Center is on such high level that it is a pity that there seems not to be an equal quality anroid application. Anyway I downloaded this proram as late as yesterday and I must say this is just what I have been looking for. I will buy this at the beginning of February. Great work guys and girls!
