Purchase and Licensing Help
GratefulRiver:
Yes I have read that. I have not had much luck. I think my product auto-updated and that is why I can't get the license to work. I will download the old version and give it a try (though I think I have tried this already). I will report back.
JimH:
MC won't automatically upgrade a major version. 28 to 29, for example. Re-read the link. Everything is there.
EmersonDAnite:
I apologize; I'm sure the answer is obvious to more experienced users;
I have a valid license for JRiver 27, is there any free way to make it work with JRiver 29, or is a paid upgrade the only path?
As well, I have hit the "restore license" button a couple of times, but I have honestly no idea what it does (other than tick through my yearly restore allotment).
Thanks for your help!

An upgrade from MC27 to MC29 is a paid upgrade only path. Upgrades from a major version (in this case 27) to a newer major version (29) are.

Hi I have been reinstalling so much for numerous reasons, like clean installation of Windows. I only have one restore left.
I read that one can get it reset, if one ask for it in such cases. I read this from here. (If you use all your restores, please post on the forum. We can reset the count, but this is only done if you have run out.)
Do I have to come with further information on that I have paid for it?
