Safe to delete?
« on: February 06, 2022, 08:00:49 am »

Under the files list in the navigation tree, I have a large number of files listed with no file location shown. Should I delete these orphans and is it safe to do so?

I came across these listings while troubleshooting long pauses while doing an auto-import on the library.

Fine to delete.  If you find what's making them please share.

While I haven't checked each file individually (some are impossible as they have no filename), it appears that the episodes I have checked also exist in the filelist in their proper locations.

Hello,
not sure this could help you but...

I had the same problem making a custom audio view: SACD ISO where shown as split into their single tracks not having any real file on the target location.

I found the problem to be in the effective folder name containing a ";".
I finally corrected the problem adding an expression to my custom view where the ";" where replaced by "|" (without any renaming of the real folder names).

Regards, Andrea
