When waveform analysis was introduced to MC, I re-analyzed half my library. Unfortunately, at a later date I realized that this feature was disabled for video, though it worked perfectly fine and helps finding particular scenes in videos.

I suggest to reactivate this feature for video files, since it already worked and was useful. There are already three other topics by other users wanting the same thing:
