Fresh Windows 11 Install - MC29 - BD-J Detected, Java not installed.

Turning off the Windows Firewall does allow proper playback.
My special use case maybe a bit more involved than most. I am streaming from my google drive (my redundant backup of sorts) as a test.
rclone with winfsp.
I'm not sure why MC28 works out of the box though. I haven't setup any inbound or outbound firewall rules for it.

There is a change coming in a future build that might help with loading Java on some systems, let us know if that helps.

Is there anything I can do to keep windows firewall ON? But allow this jvm to load properly?
Could I beta test this future build?

Hi,
I tried MC29 at the weekend and also encountered the same 'BD-J disc detected, but java is not available' error when tried playing a BD with full menu. I spent several hours finding out what's going on and here are my findings:
- MC29 downloaded the java component (there was a 'java64' folder in the plugins folder) but it seemed to be not able to open JVM,
- this issue came up only one of my computers which has AMD 3200G APU (the other one having Intel CPU worked fine),
- the workaround was downloading JRE1.8 from java.com and copying the installed files into the 'java64' folder.
My guess is the Java version downloaded by MC29 is not compatible with the new libbluray and AMD CPU combo, but this should be tested further by others having similar config.

I will try when I'm home for lunch.
I am running an Nvidia GTX 1050ti
