Gapless or Cross fading of video
« on: March 27, 2022, 08:51:57 pm »

Is there such a capability with JRiver?  Can't seem to accomplish this with video.  Have a huge collection of promo videos that I would love to VJ with online.  But JRiver doesn't have an option for cross fade or just gapless (audio) on video.  Love JRiver and would like to use it for all functions.

Unless something has changed over the years, the answer is No - as it takes time for each individual video files "playback graph" to be created, used, then destroyed before the next one is played (and there is no implementation of multiple queued graphs).  That said, you can have more than one instance of MC running at a time and that you can play two different videos at the same time (provided the Audio is "Direct Sound" and not "WASAPI Exclusive")

Exclusive can also be turned off for WASAPI.
