aww sweet dreams :)

Oh yeah - and I got a job interview tomorrow for a job I REALLY want with an AMAZING company : -
I'd really appreciate any help people could give as to questions that might be asked along with what are good answers the company  might want to hear as well as any other tips for an interivew.

So far I have:
  • 3 of your best skills and times you've used them
  • your worst points
  • how you'd deal with a troublesome team mate

Any others? and all good answers hugely welcomed.

    Thanks!

A question I always ask potentional employees is this:

"You've been assigned a task to accomplish - but you don't know how to go about it.  What do you do?"

You'd be surprised at some of the lame answers I've gotten.  The all-time winner was the guy who said he'd do his best to make it *look* like his results were satisfactory.  I then asked if appearance was more important than substance...  he said "every time".

Scott-

P.S.  The answer I'm always looking for is "I'd find a <mentor>, <coworker>, <friend> who could help me get the right answer.  It's often not what you know, but what you can learn.

Nila,
Be yourself.  Listen carefully.  Remember to breathe.

Employers look for people with energy (even passion) who can think well, but who will also follow directions.

Good luck tomorrow!

What employers around here seem to want, judging by the ads in the paper, is someone with years of experience, at least a bachelor's degree in the field the job is in, being a "Self-Starter" and willing to work for $6 per hour.

$6 per hour.

That's too much.  Way too much.
