"Send to" function not working when highlighting files

Hi and thanks in advance for the help.  I am using 29.0.28 in a Windows 10 environment.  Connected via USB is an Astell and Kern Sp2000 player.

I have selected a playlist worth of files and right clicking on that highlighted list brings up a set of options including "Send to" which I select and I see the SP2000's internal storage.  I click the transfer button and the function appears to be working normally all the way to getting a "Finished" message.  I go to the A&K's internal storage and I see folders and subfolders on the device but no files have been copied.  What am I doing wrong?
