Equalizer settings associated with song
« on: April 30, 2022, 08:33:14 pm »

Hi folks, I believe there is a way to have equalizer presets assigned to individual songs.
I can't find any info on this. I see there is a DSP field in the tags but playback doesn't seem to use the preset specified in there.

Thanks for your help,

It works fine for me. I have presets for Classical, Jazz and Rock and they work fine.

Hi guys, I've had some success with specifying equalizer presets for specific songs. What remains a mystery is how does the software prioritize between the current equalizer settings and the preset associated with a file. Logically you should be able to specify that you want to use a certain preset or the current settings, or go with the preset specified in each and every file. It is unclear to me how this is all prioritized.
Also, does anybody know what the difference is between 'Save' and 'Save to File' in the equalizer window? I can't find any information on these topics in the help.
Thanks in advance,
