What do you do to invoke the error?
Some custom command or shortcut you are using is referencing MC24.exe. You need to edit that, replacing the MC24 with MC29.

That's actually quite an interesting error- note that it's MC skinned, not a Windows dialog.

I'd guess at having a copy of the MC24 stub executable being called from System32, but no MC24 installed, but that's a guess.

Definitely need to know what you're doing to trigger though :)

Do you still have this in your MC scheduler or Windows Task Manager?

If you do, that's where you need to change the "MC24" to "MC29"

If you are not specifically doing anything that provokes the error, then it must be something running automatically on a schedule.
It's a Windows error response, indicating that it is something running on a command line.
It's wrapped in an MC skin, suggesting it is being run from within MC.

Check the MC scheduler, which can be found in the tree under "Services and Plugins".
If it's not there, the only other place I could imagine it being is in your auto import settings, in the "Tag on Import" rules for one of the folders there, though feel that this is unlikely.

Other than that, I'm all out of ideas. Sorry.

tree -> Services & Plugins -> Scheduler

Double click each task to see which one is calling mc24.

Thank you sooo much, you were correct the Scheduler was set up back in 2019 and I had completely forgotten (old age) lol
It did have MC24 now changed to 29...

Smashing stuff, glad you got it sorted.

Don't worry about the age thing, you're in good company...
