JRiver 29.0.83 goes slow and resizes laptop screen a few times before working

Every few updates, I get a perennial problem of jriver on my laptop going very slow and the screen resizing (trying different resolutions it seems) when looking on my network for my DLNA client (a PI running Moode).  It seems to go away as a problem at the next update, but then comes back after a few more updates.  It's rather annoying and must be a coding issue as it comes and goes with updates.

Possibly the device disappearing.  Try the options in MC for the broken renderers.
