Movie Info In Standard View

In theater view, when clicking on a movie an info panel is displayed showing Cast, Synopsis, Etc. Is there no way to do the same thing in the standard view or am i completely missing something?

In standard view, there should be a popup displaying that information when the cursor hovers over an item.

Thanks. I figured it was something obvious I was missing somehow.

Is there anyway to change to info that is displayed?
