MC needs work on the User Interface(UI), IMO, more than new features. For example the volume control isn't in the same icon on all of the various views MC presents. Let me confess I strayed, spending the last year using Roon. It is now cancelled. The best thing about Roon is that the client is the client on my tablet, on my PC etc. Roon however forgot the reason to use the client is to listen to music. Reading the life story of an artist is a secondary activity. MC on the other hand has a very good base interface with a focus on music but like the rest of MC it needs a simplification and general clean up. In one sentence, for JRMC30 build one client, with a logical, simple interface leading to more complex capabilities as needed.
