How does JRiver know a file is a TV Show?
« on: September 26, 2022, 10:06:09 pm »

I recently tried to import the movie "The 400 Blows" as a single mkv file. Unfortunately there was some phantom meta data (S4E0) in the search window. I tried changing that data to "The 400 Blows" and searched for a match. All related matches now come from Wikipedia instead of IMDB or a similar movie database. All of the movie information is correct but the only cover art I see is a simple French movie poster.

If I go ahead and add the file, it shows up in the Shows section instead of the Movies section. I tried editing the Tags so that it would be reclassified as a Movie but I don't seem to be able to do that.
