How is backup/restore of the settings/options on a client done?

Backup in old version, restore in new version.  Read carefully when you do.

pepar:
I tried backing up (Library) in client and got a notice about only local libraries can be backed up. What am I doing wrong?

I installed MC30 as you directed, with MC28 previously installed. It copied over the libraries and library views. I changed the skin setting.

BUT it did not copy over any of my ZONES from the previous version MC28?

Do I really need to manually recreate all the zones with their complicated DSP and audio settings along with zone switch rules in the new version? I hope not, because that will be a PITA.
