white screen when auto starting to theater view

What is your Media Center startup mode set to?
Are there any other Apps auto-starting?

I have the same symptoms as the author of this thread after yesterday's update to ios13 ventura.
When I exited from theater mode, I saw a white screen and no button was pressed.
I just quit jriver through the cmd+w shortcut. :'(

There is some issue with Ventura and fullscreen video. It's not clear yet whether it's a bug in the OS or a deprecated API that we are using.

theater mode still has the white screen issue for me and is substantially more laggy than the other modes. As much as I like the clean look, it's not worth it, so I'm just defaulting to the other modes now. I don't have anything else at startup and I use this macmini for jriver only.
