Audio CD's Won't Finalize

My laptop has an internal CD burner, and I also have an external one.  Until a few builds ago, both burned audio CD's well with MC.  Now they burn, but don't finalize.  The audio CD's play, but hang at the end of the last song.

WinMedia, Real, Nero, etc, all burn and finalize audio CD's-- but unfortunately none of them burn OGG files, which most of mine are.  Has anyone run into this?

Please post your system info here (from the MC help menu). Are you getting an error message, or does it just end the burning process normally?

No error message, MC goes through burning but must be cancelled after last song 'finishes', as the 100% complete window just stays there...

How long did you wait before you cancelled it? It would be interesting to see if it would ever finish if you let it go for like 5 or 10 minutes. Not that that's acceptable, but it might help tracking down the problem to know if that works.

I let it run for hours once.  It hangs during the finalization of the audio CD -- it didn't used to.  For now, I've started using the 'lossless' WMA format and am burning with WMP9 (never tried it for this, didn't realize it's not a bad piece of software -- but no OGG)...
