I am still at MC 24, since I only use it strictly for audio playback. All my audio files (approximately 1T bytes) are mostly in the flac format and a few 320kbps mp3 files, and are stored in my computer; I do not subscribe to any of the cloud based music platforms, therefore I am wondering is it time for me to upgrade to MC 30? Keep in mind that I only need it as an audio player, I do not need none of the video related features.

Basically you'd have to go through the lists of changes from MC25 to MC30 to see if there's anything that interests you. Or you can just try MC30 and see what it has.
