I have created two custom fields called 'LP Side', 'LP Track #' which catalogs the side and order of tracks on the vinyl version of an album. I prefer the LP Track numbers to start at 1 for each side of the album. To do this, I use the "Fill Track Numbers From List Order" function, but I have to cheat it because I can only select to change the fields for 'Track #' or 'Episode #'. So I opt for Episode, and select 'Start over each : Album;LP Side'. Once that is complete I use 'Move / Copy Fields' to move the list order from 'Episode # 'over to 'LP Side.' My request is to allow any field, not just 'Track #' and 'Episode #', to be tagged in list order, so we can perform this, and other possible automatic numerations, in a single step.
