MC not Visible When Connecting via Remote Desktop

Something happened to the menu on my Id and MC doesn't display anymore.  I only see the JRiver Id Main Menu.  I know MC is there because I can connect to it with M0 4Media.  But, I cannot access MC over RDP anymore.  It is probably some simple menu thing.  It seems the Workspace menu that is usually down lower left by the horizontal scroll bar is gone too.  I've tried cold reboots, code 98 reboots, etc several times and that isn't fixing.   

Please help.  Thanks! 

This is what I see right now.   

Edit - On a reboot into 1. GUI MC will display.  I tried then to go back to the preferred 2. Headless Text and MC still remains hidden.   I prefer Headless Text because the display has better resolution, clarity, and contrast.  That is what I have been using with no issues for the last six months.
