Weird shot in the dark, try going into MC's Options > Media Network section (like in your first picture) and check the Disable audio buffer to disk (for low powered systems) box and try restarting MC and retesting this. You could also try the video one too, if you use MC for video and see what happens.

Also in MC's Options > Media Network a screenshot of Add or configure DLNA servers... and the DLNA Servers dialog would help too. In the DLNA Servers make sure the Advanced part is toggled so all the settings there are visible too.
