Currently I am running MC v29 on the server and main client here. (both Windows 10). (full version numbers for OS and MC can be provided if requested)
I do like to keep up to date (and I purchase a Master license for the new version when it becomes available).
On the other hand, I don't like to upgrade to non-stable versions, well because, non-stable.

So the conundrum I face, and my question is the following...
I have the update setting set to Help>Update Channels>Stable (recommended)
That has worked quite well, so long as the new stable versions are within the major version number.
My question is: how do I enable notification when a new stable version is available that is a new major version number?
My use case: I did not know the current stable, latest, version is now version 30.x until I visited the download page.
Maybe "Stable (recommended)" should not be the only "stable" option, but also include a
~Stable new version~
option in that option list?
In any case, it now looks like I have some upgrading to do this weekend.

thx for the new features in v30!
