Cover art issues
« on: February 16, 2023, 04:11:29 pm »

I hope I can explain this, so for a long time now, past and present vs of MC(29.0.87), I seem to have two album cover art that keeps surfacing in the wrong places.  For example, when I am in Theater mode/Playing Now, those two cover arts keeps showing up in the rotation of images for the current playing band.  Meaning they don't belong to the current playing band.  Also, last night media center crashed (what a pain to fix), MC replaced all my cover art in a playlist of over 800 songs with one of those two cover arts.  This is driving me nuts, for I really hate one of the two images.  Any ideas on how to fix?
Thanks
Mike

If MC finds an image in a directory with audio files, it may use it.

You may have those two images in some unexpected place.

You can recover from a data problem by restoring a backup.  MC makes them automatically.  More on the wiki.

Thanks
I went to the music folders, I found numerous copies of those two images, I deleted them all.  Any place else would you suggest looking for them?  I have MC set to default so I believe all artwork would be stored with in the same folder as the music files, correct?

They're your files.  You'll have to find them.

You could import all the image files from all your disks, and probably find them that way.

Do you know the name now?  If so, you can search for them from Explorer.
