I just bought a JRiver Id and copied my collection from my Windows PC onto it. I put it on my home network and I'm controlling it from JRemote on an iPhone.

The problem is that I can't update the views for JRemote in Tools / Options / Media Network / Advanced / "...Customize view for JRemote, Gizmo & Panel...". When I go into that box, whatever I add or change doesn't stick. I add a field, click Ok, but when I go back into the "Customize Views" box, there's no change.

On my Windows PC, the custom views update fine. I'm guessing there's something about Linux file permissions that's blocking MC on the Id from updating. This is a real problem as I need custom views to navigate my collection. Thank you.

Thanks, already I did, a few times. I just rebooted it again and I’m getting the same behavior. I make an update in Customize Views, hit Ok, then go right back into the box and the change is not there.

Did you get this going?
If not, please list the version strings at the bottom of the text menu.
Added a view on my Id without any issues.

Thanks Bob, I did a 77 reset on the Id and now it works fine.
