Thanks. I’ll look at the Auto Configure settings when I’m home tonight. But just to be clear, my output device has no problem playing 192 KHz files. I’ve been using JRiver for over a decade, and I’ve used it with this particular output device for over seven years. I’ve never had this issue.

And to clarify further, even now, I can play 192 KHz files just fine, but then, after every few plays, the Output Settings randomly change. It’s not always the same sample rates that are affected, and the new sample rates are all over the map. For example, last night I played a 44.1 KHz file, and it started converting it to 48 KHz. I can’t discern a pattern for which sample rates will be affected, nor do I see a pattern for what the new sample rate will be.

Maybe Exclusive Control is off?
