Plug-ins should be better now
« on: February 24, 2003, 02:25:08 pm »

Nikolay spent part of his day making sure the version 9 plug-ins are up to speed.  Hopefully, we've fixed the major problems.

Slideshow should work for MC now.

Arsenolite was updated.  Problems with the external encoder plug-in should be OK now.  Some others I don't remember.

Please report any problems here.

Nikolay's taking his mid-term exams tomorrow for the Master's program in business at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School.  He looked a little pale late this afternoon when he was talking about it.

I still can't get anything to install. I get a message first asking if I want to install a plug-in. I say "Yes" then a "connecting" window, then a
"Failed to install package.
More Info: Failed to unzip file 'c:\windows\TEMP\enc_mp3.zip'.

When trying to access the encoder plug-in from within "rip" or "Convert" I get a "Invalid Package file. Cannot continue."

Can download and install plugins, but as soon as I click the "Package was installed successfully" dialog, MC crashes with a MediaCore error.
