MC Library Missing Music
« on: March 30, 2023, 01:44:05 am »

After changing some things with auto-import I apparently lost all entries of one of my hard drives.
Importing them, what I am doing right now, seems to work.
The HDD contains 4,3 TB of music. So importing apparently needs some time.
This HDD was not a part of auto import.
Any idea what happened?

And another question: where can I disable auto-import?

Tools >> Options >> Library & Folders >> Auto-Import and then deselecting "Run Auto-Import in background" should ensure that Auto-Import only runs if you tell MC to run it.

You could restore a backup.  MC makes them automatically.  See the wiki for more information.

Thanks for answering. All is working again.
I disabled the auto import in the background already.
