Audio Plans for Media Center 31
« on: May 19, 2023, 11:41:15 am »

The board has a sticky post with plans for video. Anything similar to be expected for those who use MC primarily for audio playback?

I'm an audio only user on v30, I have not bought v31.

I've asked that the PlayingNow plugin be resurrected for use with the MC 64 bit version, that would make me get out my wallet.

Atmos audio now works.

You're talking about bitstreaming not decoding correct?

Would also be nice to fully integrate last FM to receive play count last played and metadata etc.
Still on V28 and waiting for last FM full integration, will it ever happen?

(audio only mode for me)

Correct.  You can decode if you purchase the $400 Dolby Reference Player software.
