This is a new build of JRiver Media Center 31 for Mac.  Please post bugs here.  Please start a new thread for anything requiring discussion.  Non-bug posts will be deleted.

31.0.12 (5/19/2023)

1. Changed: Picking Playing > Playing Now > Show Playing Now will activate an inactive Playing Now tab instead of switching the current view.
2. Changed: Made showing tree roots (Alt+1,2,etc.) switch to an inactive tab instead of opening a new view if it finds that tab.'
3. Changed: Clicking the playing file image it will try to find a Playing Now tab open to switch to instead of opening a new view.
4. Changed: Picking Playing > Playing Now > Show Playing Now will not switch away from a locked Playing Now tab but instead just scroll to show the playing file.
5. Changed: Using the "Show tree root" shortcuts will refresh the view instead of recreate when that view is already showing.
6. Changed: Truncation tooltips no longer honor the setting for tooltips, but instead always show.

The "Use gapless for manual track changes" configuration is broken.  It's selected but it hangs on "buffering..." for 2-3 seconds when I manually move to the next track. It's not a problem with the previous build.

Weird -- it seems to be working correctly today.

I just installed MC 31.0.12 on my iMac running Big Sur 11.7.7. I installed the program on a trial basis, although I have a Master license for MC 31. Once MC 31 opened, I imported the library backup from MC 30, which appeared to work correctly; I have not done a full inspection yet.

However, after doing the import and letting MC 31 perform its self-restart, the splash screen told me immediately that my trial had expired and I would need to register or purchase a license. I did a restore through the website and downloaded the .mjr key. I double-clicked on the key but it did not register in MC 31; I had to repeat the process using the Restore License button on the splash screen before MC 31 would start. When it did, it showed registered as expected.

What this means, though, is that I've now spent one restore and got essentially nothing for it. MC 31 would not add the license from the .mjr file. Can I have that credited back? Also, this appears from my end to be a bug.
