MC 9 - Nomad II mg doesn't work

Hi.

I have the newest v. of MC 9 and the latest plug-in for nomad II mg handheld but i'm no longer able to see the player songs in the external or internal memory.  This had worked fine in previous versions of mc 9.  I'm able to upload songs fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are newer versions here on this board than on the download page.  9.0.118 is the latest.  Take a look for other threads about Nomad.  I'm not sure whether you'll find one, but it's worth a try.

Nuno,

Can you right click on the NomadII icon and make sure you have the option for "Show all files" selected? My best guess is that you clicked the toggle for "Show queued files only" and have not switched it back.

Tried toggling between show all and qued but no luck.  Any other clues?

Where can I find this new version?

Hi.

I found the problem.  The show q'd files only was turned on but only in the option box when files are ready to be uploaded.  The right click options on the handheld icon also have this option but it doesn't seem to over ride the options in the upload view.

What I had to do was to add songs to the upload Q and then de-select the show Q only option.

Be curios to know if this the intended user experience.

Hi.

Thanks for being so responsive.

I have another issue regarding CD's and accessing the song databases.  I 've never gotten this to work on MC.  I typically revert to windows media player as they recogize all cd's and have a great way to update.  I'm ripping one cd now on media player and it recognizes the songs. I try the same cd on MC and the YADB doesn't find the songs so it just shows as tracks.

Please let me know if i'm using this improperly.

If YADB doesn't find the CD, it does not have it in the database. Try submitting it and then it will be there in the future.
