Any chance V31 could have Apple Music with Lossless Playback added please?

None.

Apologies for the blunt reply, but Apple won't allow it, and even if they did, JRiver probably wouldn't get on board because Apple are notorious for constantly redefining the boundaries, never to the benefit of third party companies.

Hell probably has a better chance of freezing over.

I suppose on Windows you could try using the WDM driver with Apple Music or iTunes (whatever app they have available on Windows) and do it that way. Otherwise, yeah, it's pretty much a nonstarter to begin with.

As an alternative, you could have DVDMusicFab download your desired songs from Apple Music, then play them with JRiver.
