Batch import album artwork?
« on: June 21, 2023, 01:43:10 pm »

I just imported my rather large music library from iTunes into Music Center 31. Most of the artwork came over, but about 30% did not.  Most of the missing artwork can be added by right clicking and choosing "get from internet"

Rather than doing this several hundred (or thousand) times, is there a way to tell Music center to go get any artwork that is missing?

I understand that there will be a number of albums where the artwork can't be found, and that's ok.  I'm batting over 90% with the manual transfer, but thought I'd see if there was a way to automate it and save some time.

Thanks.

Have you found the Cover Art topic on our wiki?

Select multiple files, then right click.

Yes, I have. And it works great.  See https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Cover_Art#Which_files_are_missing_cover_art.3F

You can mark this one as solved.
Thanks.

I use this quick Smartlist to ensure images are stored in tags, which maybe helpful also for you.
Code: [Select]
[Media Type]=[audio] [Image File]=[]
