Any way for MC to ignore compact discs?
« on: October 12, 2023, 08:32:05 pm »

Small problem -- but still. Any time I am ripping CDs, using dbPowerAmp, if MC is running, it tries to get involved in the process, bringing up a dialog box with potential track titles, etc. I've already turned off CD ripping in the program.

Is there any way to get MC to completely ignore inserted compact discs? Not the end of the world, mind you; if I'm going to be ripping a CD, I just quit out of MC (and the media server) first. But it would be nice if I didn't have to do that.

Take a look under MC options for file types.

You can turn if off altogether if you'd like:

Tools > Options > General > Features > CD Rip > (uncheck)

Restart MC to make sure the option took effect.
