MC 31.0.40 'loses' licence details and requires fresh restore after a few days

Issue still unresolved unfortunately.

My NetworkManager.conf on ali systems is as follows:
[main]
plugins=ifupdown,keyfile

[ifupdown]
managed=false

[device]
wifi.scan-rand-mac-address=no

So it looks like MAC address randomisation is not enabled for wifi.

I tried to use one of my laptops yesterday and again it  had 'forgotten' the licence key.  I was prompted that the trial period had expired, and I then restored my licence.  Interestingly, the licence key details appeared pre-populated in the pop-up box, so MC31 is retaining the licence key details but seemingly not applying them. As before, previous versions of the software continue to operate normally.  This surely points to an issue with the build of MC31?  Does anyone have any further ideas I could try?
