Had a problem with install of 114 over 113 on a fresh XP Pro installation (with SP1). Install went fine until it got to the Windows Media Components. Installation hung there for 10 minutes. I went into the task manager, killed the wmfredist.exe and installation completed. I dont' use WMA, so I'm not too concerned, but it was the first time I hit this.
Also, after the fresh installation of XP Pro with SP1, MC crashes 90% of the time after I rip a cd and place a new cd into the tray, and MC attempts to contact YADB for the disc info. MC then tells me that it failed to connect to YADB and then crashes on me.
The 100% cpu utilization problem I had previously is no longer a problem since my fresh install of XP Pro - however, a buddy of mine with XP Pro is now running into the same problem I had. I'm hoping he'll post the details here soon.
