I've been seeing a really odd situation with a small handful of songs.
I can not convert these songs from WAV to MP3 from within MC9. The conversion process hangs with the "Encoding" message.
If I convert the songs using CDex, when I try to play the songs within MC9, they are being truncated. If I play them using windows media player (V9), they play correctly.
We are talking serious truncation... one nearly 4minute song is truncated to 30seconds! The size of the MP3 is also being under reported, and when I transfer the song to my iPod, it is still truncated on the iPod.
I am using the Lame MP3 encoder throughout (in MC9 and CDex). I have tried using different encoder options/settings within both MC9 and CDex with the exact same results.
Any suggestions?
