MC31 Crash
« on: November 08, 2023, 11:20:51 am »

I have experienced a crash while I was playing and changing the rating. Crash Report and log are attached.
Also, every time I close MC and re-open, all the tabs are on Start and not what they used to be when I closed MC.
Many thanks for any help!

The crash is in webkit. What was in MC's main window at the time?

Can you think of any reason it would be trying to do a web based view?
Any other windows or views open at the same time that would be doing a web access?

I might have had JRemote open. Could that be it?

Looks like it crashed after the terminate.
The main thread appears to be processing a web event after the web window is terminated.
Can you make it happen consistently?

Thanks, Bob. I can't really reproduce it. It happens very rarely. Next time I'll collect more data.

hello,

I've experienced similar crashes on different iMacs (one running 13.5.2 and the other 11.7.10). I am attaching the latest crash report running on 13.5.2.

I had just performed some Tag editing with MC and it crashed after I played a couple of tracks while browsing through Artists.

Unfortunately, I did not have logs turned on in MC, but am including the MacOS log in case it helps.
