Jim- haven't I already paid for MC32?  Windows crashed, had to be reinstalled from scratch. Am struggling with license keys etc. Please advise.
thanks

Well, this feels a little like i'm being herded into a purchase. Maybe the reason i didn't upgrade from v28 earlier is that i didn't find value in the intervening releases?
I can find use for JRiver occasionally though, so i did go through with this purchase.

tdipower:
Hi.

Trying to understand the upgrade need. It is stated in one post that the old version would keep working without access to lookup services and so on.
But in the list of services that I access and need on this page: https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,138838.0.html
It states the license server and the access key lookup service.
Will I not be able to reinstall the v.28 to my computers later?
And will the share service stop to work, or only the access key access? The IP and port will still work?

rhkrhk:
Responses generally involve upgrading or restoring. My problem is a little different. I had MC 28 installed on windows 10 laptop & desktop. I bought MC 32 and installed it on desktop.  Computer crashed and I had to reinstall W10 many times before I got it to be (I think) stable.

I reinstalled MC32 on the desktop- now how do I transfer my library, settings and playlists from laptop MC28 to desktop MC32?

thanks
rhk

Awesome Donkey:
Do a library backup in MC28 on the laptop and put it on a device like a USB stick or SD card to transfer it to the desktop and restore the library backup in MC32.
