Can I stream local video files to an Apple TV 4k via JMRC?

I have a PC media server with some 4K films (inc dolby atmos etc) and I'd love an elegant solution to stream those in all their glory to an ATV4K.
Tried to use Plex but it sucks big time.

Any advice appreciated. Including which app to use on the ATV thaht plays nicely with MC Thank you.
