I would like to take the script at the bottom of MC {in audio mode}
and have it as the status information section when MC is idle.

I thought that copy pasting [Name] (FixCase([File Type], 3) - [Size] - [File Size])
would work, since it is the default for the tool bar, sadly that wasn't the case.
I have tried all the fields that I think are involved with what I want to do, so far, no joy.

You won't be able to achieve this...

The info down below relates to the tracks listed above it (in the file list).

The info up top relates to what is currently in your "Playing Now" list.

If you sent the entire 20½k list to playing now, and had "[PN Tracks] Files" up there in the display window, you would get the track count. I tried [PN Size] and [PN Duration] for you on the off-chance, but they didn't return anything for me.
