Copy Tags from One Album to Another - an update
« on: January 03, 2024, 02:56:53 pm »

There is a post from several years ago title 'Copy Tags from One Album to Another'.  In it, the suggestion is to use the Control and 'C' to copy the tag from the source, and Shift, Control, and 'V' to paste to the destination.

I cannot get this combination to work on my iMac.  I can, however, get 'Command and 'C' to copy the tag from the source, and Shift, Command, and 'V' to paste to the destination.

If someone has already posted this, my apologies.  If not, happy copying...

PS - I received the Peter Gabriel multi-disc set (I/O) which has multiple mixes for the twelve songs.  When I repped the Dark Mix, all the disc data was in the tags.  When I ripped the Bright Mix, none of the disc data was in the tags.  Thus, copy tags was a significant time-saver:  thank you to the developers!
