Trigger Alexa Routines
« on: January 25, 2024, 06:15:56 pm »

Is there any way to trigger Alexa Routines from within JRiver?  Example:  I use the software strictly for movies.  I create playlists with a ten minute countdown, a theater intro, some trailers, a short and the main feature.  I’d like to add a trigger to run the lighting routine from within the playlist once the countdown ends for example.  Thanks in advance.  I currently have build 30 but am upgrading to 32

I don't work for JRiver... I help keep the forums safe from "male enhancements" and other sources of sketchy pharmaceuticals.

I looked at this and it looks like it’s just to be able to talk to
Alexa and have JRiver respond.  I’m hoping to not have to say anything at all 🤞 I can trigger Alexa routines from a remote but I want everything to be seamless once I initiate the playlist

On the Devzone page, take a look at MCWS.  You should be able to run an external program.
