Crashing since version 17
« on: January 22, 2024, 02:31:21 pm »

I have used MC since version 17, now on 30.  It crashes frequently and always has.
I have a large library,  approximately 100,000 files.  I've always assumed that was the problem and that is why I have upgraded, always hoping the latest version will fix it.

I do not run auto import, that always crashes.

Are there any settings I can make that will make it more robust for a large library?

Please install v32 and provide a crash dump if you still get crashes.  Look in the wiki for instructions.  Thanks.

Crashes are often related to antivirus or drivers.

If it crashes during auto import it could be bad files too.
