My Synology DS220+ died on me last week and Synology no longer sells that particular model. They offer the DS224+ which has a quad core processor, BUT, that processor does not support AVX. In reviewing Redit posts in R/synology, it was mentioned that if running docker, you definitely need a a processor that supports AVX. Wondering if there is truth to this rumor?
Now that JR32 is out, I want to make sure I get the correct server and do NOT want to bump up to an $800 NAS if I don't have too.
