Peachtree SonaDAC resolution through JRiver
« on: February 04, 2024, 12:04:46 pm »

The Peachtree SonaDAC will do DSD 128 through USB 2.0. My source is a Mac Pro (Late 2013) running MC 32. When a file is not playing the MINI app on my Mac defaults to 24-bit 384.0 kHz. However, when I play a DSD 128 file MC is down sampling it to 24-bit 176 kHz. I am not sure what settings I need to change so it doesn't downsample. Or is it a possible issue with my DAC? The DSP Studio Output Format is unchecked. See the attached screen grab on how the sample rate changes.

Any ideas on? Thanks for any advice to help solve this issue!

Did you enable DSD bitstreaming? This is required to output DSD without conversion to PCM.
