Unable to Rip a CD - "Failed to get track inf
« on: February 11, 2003, 01:42:29 pm »

I am trying to rip a CD that I had burned from one long MP3 a while back (it is one track).  Unfortunately I don't still have the MP3.  When I insert the CD, the YADB database obviously doesn't find the track info (I wasn't into proper tagging back then).  So I change the properties of the track and input "Name", "Artist", "Album", etc., figuring that MC9 will just use this info to name the file when it rips it.  I am using CBR @ 128 in Digital Secure and High Quality mode.  When I go to start ripping I get an error message that says:

"Failed to get track information"

and it cancels the rip process.

I am using 9.0.105 in WinXP Pro.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks,

Eric
