Should have transferred settings from 28 to 32 automatically.  Checking the individual settings in 28 to 32, they are identical.  But in 32 jemote2 just will noy connect, including using IP address version to connect versus access key, etc.  Can anyone provide advice, please?  After paying for 32 I hate to have to resort to 28.  BTW, 32 works fine from my silent PC server connected to my NAS for the music files.  Thank you!

Check your OS' firewall settings. You can also go into MC's Options > Media Network and disable Media Network then re-enable it, hopefully that should prompt for firewall access. You can also reset Media Network and get a new access key as a last resort.

Many thanks for the advice. I'd been knocking myself out on this problem for the last 3 evenings.  Your first suggestion to check the OS (windows Edge on android) firewall provided the answer.  Many prior jrmc versions were checked to allow access, but not 32.  All good now!
