Automate Loading and Renewal of Certificates
« on: March 27, 2024, 04:09:08 pm »

I was looking to see if there was a way to automate the installation of certificates and their renewal on a windows installation.  I noticed there were some discussions back in 2021 about a command line to do this.  Is there now a way to do automated install and renewal of certificates?

Search for "Let's Encrypt". It's free, and I used it to automate certificate renewals for dozens of machines and web sites when I was a professional IT guy.

This doesn't answer my question.  I have my own certificate authority and I can use Let's encrypt/Certbot as an alternative.  But how do I install these automatically into JRiver?  There are instructions on how to install a certificate into JRiver manually, but I would prefer automated install and renew and not use reverse proxy server.
