How to: Scrubbing video during playback
« on: April 04, 2024, 08:25:27 am »

When I play back a video file from my drive I'd like to be able to scrub the file to find a point in the video.  By this I mean, move the cursor along to progress bar as the frame at that point is shown.  This is to quickly, visually find a point in the video.

I have Windows version 28.  When I do this I do not see the frame displayed where the cursor is.  Is this possible with JRiver Media Center?  If I need to upgrade, will this also work with the Mac version?

Sadly it's not an option. This, and adding a "thumbnail" popup while you drag the timeline (similar to youtube), has been requested by many people recently. It would be a very nice touch, if they can pull it off.
